My career in viticulture began in 1987 at Denbies Wine Estate where I played a key role in the vineyard’s transition from 40 to 250 acres. Realising I was passionate about pursuing a career in wine, I enrolled at Plumpton College and studied for an HND in Wine studies, gaining a distinction and the top student award. I went on to attain a Bsc (Hons) in Wine Science and a WSET Diploma.

In 2001 I set up a business providing management and consultancy services to vineyards in Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset. As a result of this work I was offered the post of Vineyard Manager at Nyetimber. Inspired by the prospect of developing my craft while working on this innovative and ambitious project, I accepted. Under my management Nyetimber increased from 35 to over 400 acres and is now the leading sparkling wine producer in the UK.

Since 2011, inspired by the dynamic future of UK wine, I have dedicated myself to providing a first class service to wine growers around the UK, offering expertise gained from over 35 years in the industry.

Through collaboration with Vine Care UK we don’t just offer top-quality products, but also access to experienced labour and management solutions to ensure your vineyards success. We’ve also created a platform to help buy and sell your vineyard’s produce through the Grape Exchange.
