Agroflor

£4.99(Ex VAT)

Agroflor is an effective way of supporting the trunks of young vines during the establishment phase. This soft “tying tube” is cut to length and tied on to the trunk of the vine and the vine stake or bamboo cane at two points between the base of the vine and the first fruiting wire. The Agroflor supports the vine to form a straight trunk which is critical later on when using under vine cultivation. The advantage of Agroflor is that it stretches as the vine trunk grows so there is no need to remove it once it has been attached.

The roll of Agroflor is usually placed in a jacket pocket and the tying tube is pulled out of the netting holding the roll in place. The Agroflor should be cut to approx 15cm in length and wrapped twice around the trunk of the vine. A simple knot is tied to keep the Agroflor in place. Two pieces of Agrogflor should be used on each vine so 30cm per vine is required when calculating how much to order. Agroflor comes in 100 metre rolls so each roll should be sufficient for 333 vines.
